FragPunk’s $200,000 Global Esports Tournament

FragPunk, the free-to-play hero shooter from NetEase Games, is making its official esports debut with the launch of the FragPunk Global Invitational, a worldwide competition featuring a $200,000 prize pool. The tournament runs from April 28 to June 7, 2025, and marks a major step forward for the game’s competitive scene.

A Global Competition Featuring Top Regional Talent

Seven regions will be represented in the Invitational:

• North America
• Germany
• France
• Brazil
• Russia
• Mainland China
• Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan (HMT)

Each region is led by a team captain responsible for scouting and assembling a roster. Among the confirmed captains are popular figures like Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo, a former VALORANT pro and major content creator, and Dmitrii ‘Recrent’ Osintsev, a leading Russian battle royale streamer.

Tournament Structure and Schedule

The event kicks off with open qualifiers led by the regional captains starting April 28. From May 3–11, each region will hold its own finals to determine the best teams. These teams will then move on to compete in the Grand Finals held in Hangzhou, China, from June 5–7.

• Regional Finals Prize Pool: $10,000 per region
• Grand Finals Prize Pool: $150,000
• Top Prize: World Clash Championship Trophy

This custom-designed trophy will be awarded to the inaugural FragPunk world champions.
